Questions and answers
- Who am I actually working with?
- A licensed team member of Luxe Apartment Locating Group, operating under our sponsoring brokerage. Apartment locating in Texas is licensed real-estate activity regulated by TREC, and our brokerage details and required notices will be published on this site at launch.
- What do you need from me to start?
- Four things, one conversation: your comfortable monthly housing number, your move date, where your days anchor (work, campus, gym — whatever fixes your map), and anything an application will ask about, like pets or a vehicle. That’s enough to build the first list.
- Which parts of San Antonio do you cover?
- The whole metro, from the Medical Center and the Pearl out to Alamo Ranch in the far west and the Universal City belt in the northeast. The six areas we write about in depth are the ones we get asked about most for solo restarts — not the limit of where we search.
- I’m not in San Antonio yet. Can the whole thing run remotely?
- Yes. Phone or text for the conversation, video walk-throughs of actual units instead of tours, and most communities now take applications and leases entirely online. People regularly sign for a unit they first see in person on move-in day — with the honest notes from our walk-through in hand.
- What happens after I reach out?
- One conversation, then work on our side: we call communities, confirm real availability and full pricing, and send a short list — typically within a business day. You react, we refine, you tour or watch video, you apply once. There is no obligation at any step, and no cost at any step.
- My rental history is under a lease I shared with someone. Is that a problem?
- It is one of the most common situations in leasing, and it is mostly a paperwork question — showing your own payment record and income. We prepare that file with you before the first application; the full walkthrough is on our coming-off-a-joint-lease page. What we never do is advise on the old lease itself — that belongs to a lawyer or mediator.
- Do you also handle furnished or shorter-term options?
- We track which communities offer furnished units and shorter terms, and we quote them honestly — including the premium they carry over a standard lease. For some timelines they are exactly right; our month-to-month comparison page runs the math in both directions.
- How do you decide which neighborhoods to recommend?
- By facts about places, never about people: rent levels, unit stock, commute times, walkability, utility setup. We follow the Fair Housing Act — we will tell you a corridor’s price per square foot and its parking truth, and we serve every renter equally. Where you belong is your call; our job is accurate information.
Your own place, on your own terms.
One conversation with a licensed locator. A short list built around one income and a real move date. The community pays our fee — you never do.
